Dance Your Way around the Sun I’m Nick Lockhart, a cool, smooth, fun, friendly, and fresh DJ. I’ve been in the business for nine years. I can be found jamming to some Bruno Mars, playing volleyball and kayaking with friends, or just staying in for a movie during my free time. My love of music is engraved on my soul. I’ve been surrounded by it my whole life. Whether I was cleaning the house with my grandma, grilling outside with my dad, or dancing in the living room with my mom, music of all styles and genres permeated the air. I love the way music evokes emotion. Love, joy, excitement, nostalgia, even sadness. It’s all beautiful. My fondest DJing memory was opening for the Pointer Sisters. It was the first time I got to DJ in front of a large crowd. Even more importantly, it was the first time my grandma got to see me play. My DJing philosophy is that if art is how you decorate a space, then music is how you decorate time. My goal is to create a great experience every chance that I get. I’m also a dancing DJ. I love to get out with the guests and break it down. Events, where I can get the crowd moving are the best! We only have a limited amount of time to go around the sun. So, we might as well make it something we love. I try to close all my shows with the following mantra: Love the life you live, and live the life you love.
