Bringing People Together One Song at a Time My name is John Campisano and I’m smooth, attentive, professional, focused, and reserved. When I’m not throwing down beats myself, I can be found listening to “Silence” by Delerium. DJing has been a big part of my life for a while – 26 years to be exact – but I also love to build things, spend time with my daughter, and go camping. My inspiration for DJing really developed in the 90s as house music was beginning to become popular. There are also several members of my family that are performers. My music career has taken off, both in-person and on-air, across the Orlando area since the late 90s. From Universal Studios to Church Street Entertainment, multiple luxury bars, various radio shows, and even Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, I’ve been able to display my talents to crowds of every shape and size. Because of my diverse experiences, I’m very versatile. I can walk into a room and know exactly what to play. I’ve spent the last 26 years developing a “radar” to read a group of people and provide the best event possible. Music gives energy, and the DJ has to know how to wrangle that to match the crowd. Working with Mix on Wheels and Miles DJ Productions has expanded my DJing skills, as well. There are so many different types of events that we go to. Plus, working with the cars is so unique and fun! As a DJ, I aim to bring people together. There’s no greater joy than making people comfortable enough that they want to dance. It’s the best feeling in the world.
